Carlos Alvarez

Mexican-born percussionist Carlos Alvarez is committed to promoting the importance of classical music through performance and education. He performs regularly throughout the bay area and is an avid educator in the Central Valley and Bay Area. He is currently working toward a Bachelor of Music degree in Percussion Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he studies with Jacob Nissly and Ed Stephan.
