Hanmo Jiang

Hanmo Jiang

Born in 2004, Hanmo started his journey on piano at the age of four. He received guidance from many great professors, including Ren Cai, Lei Weng, and Francis Yang. As a laureate of many competitions in his homeland, he has impressed at international competitions, including the Third prize in the 17th Osaka International Music Competition. Hanmo also put his passion to ensemble music with other instrumentalists, and studying the history behind different types of pieces, which got him into some masterclasses and ensemble performances in various concert halls. Hanmo also delivered a lecture on the interpretation of Chinese music. Outside of music, he is also interested in studying music-related technologies, such as recording technology and sound design. Hanmo is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in piano with Professor Yoshikazu Nagai in San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
